Quincy Community Action Program

Quincy Community Action Programs, Inc. (QCAP) is a private, nonprofit organization that provides a variety of services to low and moderate-income people to help them improve the quality of their lives and achieve self-sufficiency. Established in 1965 as one of Massachusetts' 25 Community Action Agencies (CAAs), QCAP has evolved over the years to address the needs of residents in Quincy, Weymouth, Braintree, Milton, Hull and surrounding South Shore and Norfolk County Communities. QCAP's mission is:

Through public and private partnerships we will endeavor to assist families and individuals in our communities to improve the quality of their lives by minimizing the effects of poverty, promoting self-sufficiency and advocating for social change.

QCAP accomplishes its mission by providing services in five main areas - Housing, Adult Learning and Workforce Development, Child and Family Development, Energy, and Food and Nutrition.
