North Gate is the "north gate" of the Louisquisset Pike, a toll road between Lime Rock in Lincoln, RI, and Providence. Its original section was built in 1807. Several additions were made and in the course of its history, the building was used as a rooming house and later, the headquarters of the Lime Rock Grange. The building is now home to the Blackstone Valley Historical Society. It is open for meetings and by appointment.
