The Jacob Edwards Library is the public library in the town of Southbridge, MA. Recreational and educational materials on all topics are available for borrowing. Books, magazines, newspapers, audio books, music on CDs, videos and DVDs are offered. Free internet access, reference service, programs for children, teens and adults with a web calendar of events, art displays and photocopying services available. Digital Audio Books, eBooks and downloadable videos are now available through our membership in the C/W MARS library network. A dedicated staff of library professionals is available to help patrons find the answers they seek. The Holmes Ammidown Historical Collection houses many important pieces from local history and holds numerous collections of books, photographs, maps, directories, and memorabilia. The Jacob Edwards Library is a primary contributor to Digital Treasures, a digital library collection that chronicles the agricultural and industrial history of Central and Western Massachusetts. Museum passes may be borrowed with a library card.
