Bollywood..a name for the Indian Hindi Film Industry based in the financial capital of India.. Mumbai or Bombay, has spun many a fantasies.

Mr. Malkiat S. Gill and Mr. Surjit S. Gill came to the U.S.A. in 1986 and had there first restaurant open in Worcester in 1991, called the House Of India. It was in 1994 that they opened up another House of India at Pittsfield. And as the Indian food became more popular in the U.S., they opened Bawarchi in Boston, in 1996.

In 1997, they opened up another restaurant in Shrewsbury called the Chef Of India. It was in the year 2001 that they opened the Bollywood Grill in North Andover paying tribute to the great Hindi Film Industry.

Peoples response to the restaurants theme was spectacular, that they decided to open a second location In the year 2005 Bollywood Grill's second location opened up in Shrewsbury, Mass.

As Indian cuisine, especially the North Indian cuisine is becoming more and more popular here in the U.S.A., most of the hotel chains have started catering to the vast Indian as well as the American population.

At present Bollywood Grill is associated with the following hotels in and around Massachusetts.

The taste of food is amazing compared to any other Indian Restaurants I've visited!!

Good food, though a bit on the pricey side for Indian food. Seating is crowded and if you're a couple, you're likely to get stuck at a small table barely big enough for your food. Also, the crammed-in tables makes it very noisy. The food is good, though. We generally go across the street to India Cafe instead.

we have gone 5 times each time we have been overcharged. They are aware of the problems but feel no biggie they will credit us next time. This is there idea of return business

Service sometimes slows down during Friday and Saturday dinner. Brown sauce is sweet, red sauce is hot, and green sauce is mild.

The food is excellent - even better than that of Bollywood's predecessor, Chef of India! I'm a huge chicken tikka masala fan; theirs is mild while still flavorful. The atmosphere is fun, and not overdone.
