POOR SERVICE!!!!! Staff & owners not very friendly (for eg. when you leave they just stare at you with no thank-you or have a good night). The food is good and fresh but not worth the poor service. I ordered chicken and got seafood!! I asked for a replacement and within 4 minutes, the dish was returned. It was very obvious they had picked the seafood out of the dish & added chicken to the plate since they were still bits of seafood in the dish! It's a good thing I am not allergic to shelfish!! Will not be going back to pho dakao!

I stuffed myself at this place and for a reasonable price. The waitstaff was helpful in making selections and giving instructions on how to eat the food. We ordered the "10 Courses of Beef" and were pleasantly suprised with the creativity in the selection. I will warn about the high use of mint leaves in the dishes, but if you're used to this cuisine, or willing to try something new, it's worth it!

The pho tai reminds me most of Sai Gon pho, compared to Ha Noi pho; the chicken pho is good as well, I just don't like it as much as I LOVE pho (bo) tai. I would live on cha gio, pho tai and goi ga if I had the money to eat out every day. If only they were open to serve pho at 6-7 a.m. like they do in Viet Nam, life would be pretty sweet. Un-pho-gettable.

If like good food, a cozy atmosphere, and prices that doesn't put a hole in your wallet, then this is the place. Excellent choices, over a hundred dishes. Try something new each time, you will still never finish the entire menu. They have the best beef and chicken entrees I have ever had, and the Beef Noodle Soup is to die for. The service is excellent at times, and average when it gets really busy. Nonetheless, it's one of the best Vietnamese restaurant that I have ever been to. 9 out of 10 from me
