Interest Areas: Art, History / Heritage, Architecture The Butler-McCook House is the oldest home on Hartfords Main Street. Built in 1782, the museum was home to four generations of the same family for nearly 200 years. The Butlers and the McCooks participated in, witnessed, and recorded all of the changes that happened on Main Street from the American Revolution to the middle of the twentieth-century. The museum is home to a wonderful assortment of family owned furniture, art, and samurai armor. |
