This is a nice theater. Nice layout, Nice seats, Nice auditoriums. The problem isn't the theater, it's the people! I think management needs to assign an usher to every show (especially horror movies) because the people in the area can't seem to stop talking throughout the movie. I don't even understand why they go to these movies if they just want to talk throughout the entire show and ruin everyone elses enjoyment of the movie. This is not fair at all to the people who pay $10 a ticket to go in and enjoy a movie. It has gotten bad and it's getting worse. We need something like an usher present throughout the show to tone these inconsiderate people down. It has happened almost every time I have gone to see a horror movie there and for a few comedies as well. Fair is Fair. We're paying $10 a ticket, we deserve a quiet show. | 4 | |||

No complaints about the picture, but today I attended a showing of StarWars III (Revenge of the Sith) with my daughter. We both felt that he sound quality was third rate or worse. There was no "impact" effect or deep bass (not much below 50/60 Hz), and the high frequencies, particularly during loud passages were strident and distorted. I would have expected that a new cinema such as this would have the best in sound as well as picture quality. I have seen the other films of this series at other theaters, and the sound quality was much better. My first visit to Blackstone Valley Cinema DeLuxe was a disappointing experience. | 2 | |||
