We hadn't eaten there since the new ownership and we thought it was wonderful. The beautiful dining room was very busy. We're looking forward to going back soon.

In years past, we regularly ate at the Grafton Inn. The food was excellent and priced reasonable. My husband and I moved back into the area and decided to try the Grafton Inn again. What a mistake. The food was terrible. The bread served prior to dinner was cold and stale. Salads were limp and swimming in salad dressing. I ordered the vegetable casserole which arrived luke warm and cost $22.00. My husband ordered pork tenderloin the potatoes tasted like instant. There were only 2 other tables in the lonely dining room. In summary, we way overpaid for horrible food. Lastly, I attempted to send an email to Kate, one of the owners, but my complaint was returned because her mailbox was full probably of other complaints.

I am not sure what the last reviewer is talking about. I have been to the Grafton Inn for everything from Easter Brunch to cocktails in the bar to lunch and dinner and they have all been amazing. The seasonal menu is fresh and everything tastes homemade. The service has always been friendly and the new owners are great. Every time I have been there Kate, the new owner, even stopped by the table to see how our meal was. It is a great place for dinner and drinks in the evening and a great way to impress clients with a nice lunch. If you havent been yet, you should definitely try it.

I agree with another reviewer, Joe Rizzo. The new management really has no clue. We had lunch there yesterday. It was lonely, only one other table was occupied. The service was slow, my glass of wine ($8) had chunks of cork in it and the glass was chipped. My turkey sandwich was made of some kind of luncheon meat that had no taste, and the French fries were soggy. My wife's fish sandwich contained fried fish with batter so thick she could not eat it. Atmosphere was intrusive, loud country-western music in the background. The chef announced our order was ready by yelling to the waitress from the kitchen! We slipped out the side door, it was embarrassing. The new owners have been there for about a year, and it is clear that they have no idea what is wrong. They should try sitting down and ordering a meal themselves and have the customer's experience. The previous owners had a full parking lot every night with a healthy lunch business. Now, the parking lot is virtually empty every day. This is really too bad, the Grafton Inn was a place we visited at least once a month. We now wait for the place to close and for new owners to restore the Grafton Inn to its previous quality and friendliness.

Under new management I predict the Grafton Inn will become a dining destination. The new owners are cordial accomodating and above all really pleasant people to deal with. The food and service are excellent. The Grafton Inn's unique location and charm make it a place to dine in Worcester county.

I have been a patron of The Grafton Inn on several occassions and have thoroughly enjoyed each meal. The food is perfectly prepared to order and absolutely delicious. The service is outstanding. And it is a pleasure to see the owner actively involved in the operations and obviously enjoying every moment as she takes pride in her dream. Everyone works hard to please the patrons. It is incredibly nice to have such a wonderful place to sit, relax and dine on a fantastic meal in Grafton. It is outstanding. You must give a try!

I have had numerous opportunities to dine at the Grafton Inn. Each and every time was more wonderful than the next, and i am continuing to discover new and wonderful items on the menu. If its a romantic dinner that you are looking for, the atmosphere and ambience is cozy and warm. There is no need to travel to Boston to enjoy their incredible selection of steaks, The Grafton Inn outshines any of those other high priced steakhouses in the Theatre district. Maybe it is a business lunch/meeting you are looking to find the right place for. look no further for delectible salads such as the iceberg wedge with homeade dressing. Add sliced steak on to it to make it more of a meal. Spending this last Mother's Day with our family of 10 was such a nice treat. Although the place was extremly busy, our meal was every bit as delicious and perfectly prepared as if we were the only ones in the restaurant. They even accomodated 2 toddlers and an infant with chicken nuggets and french fries. But my most memorable visit to the Grafton Inn was this past June when i was invited to a wedding shower upstairs in their function room. The food was absolutly incredible! The buffet included tomatoes with fresh mozzerella drizzled with balsalmic, crab cakes with eggs benedict, roasted zuchini and quiches. As always the staff was friendly and overly accomodating. The room as with the entire facility was clean, quaint and cozy. I would reccomend The Grafton Inn for any meal or occasion.

I had the pleasure of dining at the Grafton Inn two nights in a row, and so I got to sample more of the awesome menu than I could have in one sitting. The menu has such a great selection, it is sure to have something for everyone. The food was divine and not a single morsel was left on my plate. The servers were professional and friendly, and I particularly enjoyed the atmosphere of the cozy bar where I relaxed for a pre-dinner cocktail. Check it out, and if you live locally, you will no doubt become a frequent patron.

What a refreshing change for Grafton. The new owners and chef at The Grafton Inn have done a marvelous job creating an upscale dining experience. I have been there more than a dozen times since the re-opening and everything from the service to the meal and the atmosphere has been nothing less than spectacular. The steaks are delicious and perfectly cooked. The attention to detail is wonderful. The chef comes up with very inventful specials and the home-made dressings are wonderful. I would never hesitate to recommend this restaurant to anyone.

This is exactly what people of Grafton have been looking for! People I have talked to love it, and are glad there is something other than the pub-fried food that was offered before. The creativity of the new chef is unbelievable, and a little time to dine is to be expected. The servers are knowledgable of the menu and the wine offered, which features South African wines, and are happy to answer questions. If you like the frozen-fried food, I do not sugest dining at the Inn, but if you want to relax and enjoy a fine dining experience, not the rush of Applebee's or Burger King, I recomend trying it out, you will not be disapointed!

Of the six different meals ordered not one was eaten. When we complained to the management they did not want to listen or care. Reservation at 1:30 no meal till 3:00 and no one else was in the dinning area. Enough said, if you go after reading this, good luck.

The rooms are simple, spacious and have all the necessities. Located on the top floor, they offer privacy and a view.  4
