Interest Areas: Environment / Nature, Animals Come visit one of Masachusetts' most spectacular farms in the heart of historic Central Massachusetts. Our farm store, winery, and orchard stand on a farm founded in 1733. The views and vistas defy description. Our farm store carries our fresh vegetables and fruit seasonally from June through February of each year. Our bakery produces fresh fruit pies, cider donuts, apple dumplings, and to-die-for gourmet cookies. Pick your own fruit is available beginning with Strawberries in June, Blueberries and Raspberries in July and August, Peaches in August, and continue with Apples and Pears in September and October. Our winery, producing the best in handcrafted fruit and grape wines, is open year-round and sponsors tasting events throughout the year. |

I went there with my young daughter. The woman in front of me was with 2 special needs people. The owner was the one assisting them and she was unbelievably RUDE!! Since the sign for pricing is completely confusing, the woman was questioning the pricing because she'd paid more the last time she was there and the owner said "well I'm the owner and I can do what I want but the workers go by rules". She sent them on their way and totally ignored me standing there waiting for her to approach me. Her "rules" are awful and don't consider this a "family friendly" place!! I live so close to this orchard it's a shame I will NEVER go there or recommend it to anyone EVER. I agree with the other review in saying if you want to get into a bad mood go there - because that's what happened to me. | 1 | |||

I had an awful experience at Charlton Orchard today. I completely agree with the previous reviewer. I'm glad to know it wasn't just us. She was incredibly rude in pointing out the fact that they do not welcome children. I would recommend any other orchard over this one. | 1 | |||

Hostess is very rude and disrespectful to clients. If you want to get into bad mood when you are buying food, go there. If you want to be treated respectfully, go to any other farm. | 1 | |||
