| We were there on Thanksgiving for a 4:30 reservation. 6 people (one 3 yrs old child) We were seated around 5:15. After waiting in the lobby and watching the volume of people going through that day I (who has been in this busines for 30 yrs.) was concerned with what kind of dinner it would be. Our server not only was inexperienced but extremely slow. I noticed another server had taken concern with us and told a floor manager that were waiting for a long period of time to get anything started. The 1st server (Sara) came over after about 20 minutes and we ordered wine. She brought it over and put it on the table unopened and walked away to take an order from the table behind us. We sat there waiting for someone to go by to ask them to open it. Someone did. We didn't get our starter for half an hour and our bread basket. Server 2 was the one doing this. She was on top of the fact that we were not getting the proper service. We left there not very impressed with the meal its self and the service was not up to expectation. | |||||

| as a chef , my opinion of the publick house is biased yes 3 of 4 of the categories listed are above average, what your paying for is atmosphere and the P.H. bread basket , way overpriced ,for a special occasion only! | |||||
