| The Estate is well kept (aside from one of the guest houses which was in the process of being repaired) and does provide for a nice place for a wedding, BUT the staff presiding over events was EXTREMELY unhelpful and rude in all aspects. The woman who oversees operations was nasty and unhelpful in assisting myself and friends in getting a taxi home from the wedding leaving us stranded there. | |||||

| WOW! I can't believe this ! I am getting married at the harding allen estate because of the service, great food, beautiful location and the mansion is awesome. I have to mention this because I was there as a bride for my tasting and menu selection and I recall the family that must have written this brunch review. there were about 12 people at the table and they were served in would say about 1 hour, not that bad for a table of 12! If they were there 2 hours its because one of their family members was ill and spent a hour in the bathroom! the whole estate smelled so bad i can't even tell you! i felt so bad for the harding allen people..If the waitress was confused it was because she was trying to serve and air the place out at the same time..... i know someone had to clean that bathroom! the person that wrote this must have missed the whole first hour because I overheard the family say they wanted to wait for the ill person to finish before ordering brunch. I have to tell you that this brunch review is not not really fair to the harding allen people. I am surprised that anyone would turn a health situation like this one into a negative review for an establishment for which they have really no control. | |||||

| The estate is very beautiful and has a nice atmosphere. However, the service was extremely slow. It took over 2 hours for my family to have brunch there. We were one of only three tables there and apparently others felt the same way. The couple at the table next to us left before their food arrived as they grew tired of waiting. The waitress was also very confused and forgot many things we ordered and did not keep up with beverage service. Once the food arrived it was fine and it was nice to see what the estate looked like but definitely not worth the half hour drive out there. | |||||

| my daughter was married there this year. the owners were kind and bent over backwards to make the wedding perfect. i remember our flowers were dropped off at the front door instead of set up and one of the owners picked up the ball and without my even asking, set the flowers up for me so i didn't have to worry about it and they really looked great! the place is really very nice and the staff was very accomodating. | |||||

Harding-Allen is a beautiful place. That being said, the woman who runs this place is tyrannical. I don't recommend actually staying at H-A if you 1) want all of your wedding party to have access to mirrors in their accommodations (a novel idea, I'm sure); 2) want a key to your room so you can come and go freely (yes, full supervision is necessary if you'd like to visit your room during the function); 3) have friends/family who like to drink at weddings. The owner basically hides away, especially if she thinks you might need something (promises of having staff available to take care our hunger/thirst needs were not kept). Drinking is discouraged even when you're willing to pay her cash on the spot for it. We had family who drove a long way. They wanted a drink when they arrived so they could safely drive home that night, but NOPE. Tyranny! The saving grace was the head server who kept this place running and literally would've turned herself inside-out to try and make up for the horrible service and attitude of the owner. | 1 | |||
