Chuck's Steak House is an uncommonly good deal, but the ambiance at Chuck's is definitely uncommon, colorful murals, soft lights and warmly hued fabric all create an atmosphere just made for romance. Chuck's first steak house opened in Hawaii in 1959 and introduced America to the concept of the grill and salad bar in the dining room. Customers immediately loved the informal, high value concept. Worcester magazine has voted Chuck's the "best steaks and salad bar" in Worcester county for the last five years. In addition to the steaks_ which are fresh cut on the premises daily_ we also offer prime rib, fresh seafood as well as a number of chicken dishes. All of the dinners include our famous all you can eat soup, salad and bread bar children are welcomed and the child's menu starts at $4.95.

Rest in Peace Old Chuck's. This was a great place to get a really good steak at a decent price. Keyword - WAS. Most don't realize that Chuck's is a chain. It was a wonderful idea with the basic salad and soup bars, along with the great breads. A small menu of different cuts of beef, chicken, etc. Unfortunately, the staff has become lax and needs lessons in waiting on customers. The prices have risen and the quality has fallen. The breads are from the freezer and doughy and the soups ho-hum. I have a hard time paying the same amount for a steak at Chuck's as I do at Willy's or almost as much as the Chophouse. At those establishments I know that I will be dining on excellent beef and not the gristle that Chuck's serves. It's time to raise your standards Chuck's and not your prices, for without your standards all you'll end up with is an empty parking lot.
