| I went there in January on business travel and came down with confirmed food poisoning within 1.5 hours of eating my only meal in 10-11 hours before the symptoms. The food was mediocre at best, I had a flash fried seafood platter that was a little burned on the outside, a little rare on the inside and spent the whole night at the Marlborough emergency room. The restaurant has a cordial manager who informed me that they checked everything and a subsequent inspection by the health inspector showed nothing to be amiss, but I am here to tell you that I ate nothing, drank nothing during the day other than a can of diet coke that was not eaten by two other people (literally). The timeline fits. I will not be convinced it was not them. If you do not go to save yourself a possible case of food poisoning, do not go to save yourself from the mediocre food. There must be a better place to eat in Worchester, go find one and save yourself from ending up crouched over the toilet having vomiting and diahrrea at the same time which I did. It is not fun. | |||||

| This is one of the few places that doesn't serve all the ridiculously expensive, but frozen pub food. I've never had a bad meal here. Obviously, others agree, since the place is always busy and often there is a wait. One of the cleanest places I've ever been in. The people I've met that work there really seem to care, so different from all the big chain restaurants I find myself in sometimes. I only wish the place was bigger so they could take reservations or reserve a small room for family get-togethers. This is definitely one of my favorite places in the city to go... | |||||

| This is no longer the college bar and has pretty much lost it's association with the area, especially WPI, in its effort to compete with the Sole. I understand the business side -- college kids don't bring in more money -- but even the alumni feel alienated by the same crotchety waitstaff who are liable to treat the customers the same way. I don't understand why they're trying to be the After 5pm Sports Bar with martin bar prices. All in all, good place to go for the same good menu, but not to relax with friends. High popularity means long wait, too much TV, and too much noise!! | |||||

| I live in the neighborhood, and used to enjoy walking here often with my husband, until one day I get my food wrapped up. As I come back from the bathroom, it is gone. I asked the waitress, and she said one moment. She brings it back. Thank god I didn't eat it. I have a person that watched her take it out of the trash and give it to me tell me what she did. It saddens me that the place where we enjoyed going to so much over the years could do that :-( | |||||

| The post-renovation Boynton has the same menu as before, but feels more upscale. The service is abominable. | |||||

| Great people, great food, and excellent menu. If you don't get there early...chances are you may have to wait! But it's well worth it!! | |||||

| The Boynton is a great bar, perhaps one of the best in Worcester if youre just looking for a place to sit down and relax. The music is just lound enough to allow easy conversation, the service is friendly and with Wachusette Blueberry beer on tap you cant go wrong. | |||||

| The Boynton is a great place to go for a decent, inexpensive meal. Our service was prompt and our food was tasty. We will definitely make it one of our regulars! | |||||

| I love the Boynton - and so do a lot of other people! Be prepared to wait unless you go early. Good food, great selection - from diner fare to fancy stuff - and friendly service make it 1st choice for my family. Great specials, especially the all you can eat steamers on Mondays. It's kid-friendly too ... the waitresses recognize my 5-year-old daughter by now, and always ask her if she'll have "the usual", macaroni & cheese! | |||||
