| Description: | This course will highlight and appropriate your uniqueness and special gifts as a Mission-Focused Leader--fuel for tough times. Reflection time is provided for new knowledge, tools and techniques where values, gifts, talents and conflict management tools will be explored. Leadership arises from personal integrity, mission and skill building for career and life empowerment. Mission-Focused Leaders are focused, effective, have personal integrity and a desire to empower their followers while leading a balanced, fulfilled life. Mission-focused leaders are practical idealists who address challenges by facilitating trusting, supportive environments while keeping bottom line needs in mind. The Mission-Focused leadership program invites participants to re-examine inborn gifts and strengths and develop new skills. At its core, the program is based on building confidence in an emerging or seasoned leader's personal passion and sense of mission as a foundation upon which to build new skills -- so needed in this crossroad moment of personal, organizational, ecological and economic history.
