| Description: | What makes one wine different from another? Have you wondered why wine made from the same grapes taste differently from different regions? Winemaking can be a very artistic process that depends on many factors and winemaking skills and techniques. In this one evening class, we will explore various grape varieties from numerous regions, comparing and contrasting the wines to gain a better understanding of why they taste the way they taste. We will examine all of the big players: Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Merlot. |
