| Description: | The Worcester Chorus celebrates its 150th Anniversary Season as part of the Worcester Music Festival, kicking off with a look back at some of the most beloved choral music of the Chorus' early years - Bach, Handel, Haydn, Brahms, Faure, Mendelssohn and conclude with a rousing rendition of Beethoven's "Ode to Joy". This season will introduce Christopher Shepard as Artistic Director of the chorus and this concert will feature Ian Watson on the magnificent Hook organ in Mechanics Hall, which has been the chorus' home for a century and a half. | |
