| Description: | Class Descriptions. Fall-Winter 2012-2013 September 5TH - December 19TH. Beginners. Wednesdays 7:30 - 8:30PM Will introduce you to the fundamental of the Flamenco Dance. This class will work on proper posture, basic footwork, turns, hands and arms exercises including Castanets exercises (provided by the instructor). In this class you will begin to develop the muscle strength and skills necessary for Flamenco dance. Choreography: "Sevillanas and Fandangos". No prior dance experience required. Advanced Beginners. Mondays 8:15 - 9:30PM Students will find more challenged footwork combinations, contratiempo, turns, clapping and manton exercises. Choreography: "Sevillanas with Castanets, Tangos and Alegrias". Knowledge of all four Sevillanas and some dancing with Castanets experience required. Technique for all level. Mondays 7:00 - 8:00PM This class is design for all levels. We won't follow any choreography in specific; we will focus on arms, hands, head and footwork coordination. Flamenquit@s Coming Soon! This fun class will introduce your little ones to the fundamental of the Flamenco Dance and music. Classes will be focus on proper posture, basic footwork, turns, hands and arms exercises. Choreography: Rumba and Sevillanas. Ages: 6-12 years old. Burn some calories, reduce stress, create a hobby and meet fun people while exploring the fundamental of the Flamenco Dance and learn about a new culture and way of life. Classes & Dressing Codes Wear comfortable clothe, Flamenco shoes, character shoes, or boots/shoes with a thick, wide heel are recommended. Skirts are optional for beginners. Tuition Drop in: $15 Single class $25 Two classes per day. Six weeks sessions: $70 Once a week $130 Twice a week |
