Open Mic, Comedy Shtick, Guest Featured Performers, Poets On Tour, Snack Time and prizes for demented variations on classic poetry slams! Hosted by Alex Charalambides and Nick Davis. Most nights we'll be joined by Shane Hall & the Ticklebomb Orchestra &/or our friend Brian Sampson, Stand-Up Bassist Extraordinaire! Coming Soon! 11/09/09 – ROB STURMA a.k.a “Ratpack Slim,” – Los Angeles, California Slam Monster & Longtime LA Green Series Organizer. He’s one of the newest writers to be published by Write Bloody & deservedly so. Range, depth, humor, integrity and he loves wrestling! Also! First Annual "Miss Dirty Gerund" Pageant! 11/16/09 - Kate "Tak" Mogel - Clark University Poetry Slam Club President and former Worcester Youth Team Member / Adult Team Finalist! Brings her witty, intelligent words to our stage! 11/23/09 - Tui Scanlan - All the way from Honolulu, Hawaii! Poet & National Championship Winning Youth Poetry Slam Coach will be paying us a visit. 11/30/09 - Brian Ellis - Boston Cantab Slam Team and Write Bloody Press Published Author making his way down the pike. 12/7/09 - TBA 12/14/09 - Max Kessler - Current Champion of Champions of the Boston Slam and organizer at Emerson College, making his Worcester Feature Debut! 12/21/09 - Paulie Lipman - incredible performer from Denver Colorado is a longtime friend to all in Worcester and an indomitable road & word warrior! |
