| Description: | Take a hay ride to Freeman Farm for a "traditional" apple-paring party --complete with a lively barn dance, fiddle music and songs, storytelling at the fireside (both seasonal and ghost stories), paring-party games (the throwing of the peels, a corn-husking bee), and much more. Enjoy simple refreshments -- doughnuts fried at the hearth, mulled cider, pounded cheese -- and an unforgettable evening of down-home festive fun. | |
