| Description: | What's hot? Nineteenth-century hand-pump fire trucks parade around the Common and then take part in a friendly muster -- to see which fire company (assisted by visitors) can shoot a stream of water the farthest. Everyone then gets to cool down with demonstrations of 18th- and 19th-century ice cream making using tools, techniques, flavors, and recipes from the past. | |
