| Description: | What: Massachusetts Mens Gathering 38 When: May 16-18, 2008 The Gathering begins Friday evening and ends Sunday mid afternoon. Where: Barton Conference Center, North Oxford, MA, birthplace of Clara Barton, co-founder of the American Red Cross. Cost: Determined by your income. Ranges from $95 to $215 and covers everything including the cost of your lodging, meals, snacks and workshops. Description: This is a semi-annual weekend that offers an open environment for men of all ages and backgrounds to share experiences and learn from each other. Through a variety of structured and unstructured activities in both small and large groups, participants find new friendships, emotional support and greater self-understanding. Activities include Opening and Closing Circles, a Saturday night Talent Show, four 90 minute participant-led Workshop blocks with several choices of workshops in each block, drumming and dancing.
