| Description: | MEET THE ARTIST SUNDAY, MAY 18 FROM 2 TO 4 P.M. The paper quilt series stems from my love of paper and the salvaging process that goes into collecting it. Todays society has become such a throw away society that most people dont even think about what they are throwing away. Working in the print industry I am amazed at how much unusable paper is tossed. Being socially conscious it has become my duty to rescue these gems out of the recycle bin and find a use for them. The paper quilt series is my accumulation of this collecting process and through the creative process giving the materials a new voice. |
