| Description: | Maynard Downtown!!! announces Spring Stroll 2008, the townwide event where participating merchants offer chances to win gift baskets, gift certificates and other prizes, while providing a relaxed, friendly shopping environment. Participating businesses will also be raising money for the Maynard Community Chest (www.maynardchest.org), an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization that supports local charitable agencies that provide a broad range of services for people who live or work in Maynard. Spring Stroll will run from Saturday, May 3rd through Saturday, May 10th. No purchase is necessary. Gift values will be determined by each participating business. Enter at as many locations as you wish. (One entry per business, please!) Winners to be drawn at 3:00 PM on May 10th and notified by phone. The Spring Stroll will showcase Maynards vibrant and eclectic downtown retail scene. Spotlighted last year on WCVB-TV Channel 5s Chronicle news magazine, Downtown Maynard offers variety and convenience in a sweet mill-town setting. Maynard offers just about everything: vintage apparel, home décor and housewares, computers and accessories, jewelry, original art and handicrafts, and holistic health and wellness services. Treat Mom to dinner at one of Downtown Maynards many excellent restaurants, and then unwind with a movie at the Fine Arts Theater, or take in some live music at one of our friendly pubs. About Maynard Downtown!!! Maynard Downtown!!! is a group of businesses in Downtown Maynard with a common interest in creating community and promoting Maynard as a destination for shopping, dining and leisure.
