| Description: | Visions Art Gallery, in collaboration with Art and Discord, is excited to announce the exhibition of the photographic works of eight local photographers at the 2008 Spring Photography Show. The work of Shannon McDonald, Sarah Montani, Alyson Marcell, Jaesun Duggan, Angela DelPrete, Angela Cannistraro, Canman and Phaeidra will be exhibited from April 27th through May 24th. Their work includes black and white images of a local necropolis to studies of light and color and images plucked from the natural world; museum specimens to urban landscapes and abstract depictions of every-day objects, the work is intense and engaging, offering something compelling to all viewers. Prints and framed works will be for sale during the exhibition. The opening reception will be held at Visions Gallery on April 27th from 1:00pm to 5:00pm. The public will be able to meet the photographers for afternoon tea. Ambient music will also be performed during the reception by a local musician. |
