Description: The CASA Project
(Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children)

Can you spare a couple of hours per week to help an abused child in Worcester County juvenile court? The CASA Project is looking for you! We provide all the training and support that you need to take advantage of this unique volunteer activity. Your role is to find information for the juvenile court judge and to help a child find a safe and permanent home as quickly as possible. The hours are flexible, and we have two volunteer training classes coming up in the Spring.

Abused and neglected children in the juvenile justice system deserve a consistent advocate for their best interests. Associate Justice Luis G. Perez of Worcester County Juvenile Court, says, "I sleep better at night knowing that a CASA is on the case. I wish we had a CASA on every case."
