Description: Virginia Swain will explain "Why Mission Statements Matter". Participants will receive an overview of and experiential learning on the mission statement process and how it helps us dig below the surface of our lives and refocus on our core values and principles. They will learn how those values and principles renew our sense of process and act as the springboard for a mission statement. Participants will be able to bring a specific conflict or challenge and apply the method learned to this case. They will take away a sense of their innate gifts and strengths and a better awareness of their own skills in managing conflict, as well as of their own skills in managing conflict, as well as new resources for generating and using mission statements. If interested, participants may elect to take full day course on Tuesday, February 19th at Higgins Center, Clark University. For information, go to www.global-leader.org, upcoming.
