| Description: | Join the Shrewsbury Public Library Movie Discussion Club every first Tuesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. on Google Meet! Intended for film fans 18 and older. Watch the Movie of the Month on your own time, then meet with us virtually to discuss. The July 11th film is Get Out (2017; rated R): "Chriss girlfriend, Rose, invites him for a weekend getaway to meet her parents. At first, Chris reads the family's overly accommodating behavior as nervous attempts to deal with their daughter's interracial relationship, but as the weekend progresses, a series of increasingly disturbing discoveries leads him to a truth that he never could have imagined" (rottentomatoes.com).
