Description: | The Pioneer Valley Symphony Orchestra performs two of 20th-century Ukrainian composer Thomas de Hartmanns most extraordinary orchestral works: De Hartmanns first Symphonie-poème and the U.S. premiere of Concerto for Piano and Orchestra, featuring acclaimed pianist and scholar Elan Sicroff. Pre-concert talk at 6PM with PVS resident musicologist and Amherst College professor David Schneider and Elan Sicroff, artistic director of the Thomas de Hartmann Project. This concert will be approximately 90 minutes with intermission. Face masks are required in the concert hall. | |
