Description: Join Shawn Driscoll, author of We Are But Your Children: An Oral History of the Nightclub ManRay (2021), for a look into this book that chronicles the years of ManRay's existence. Through the presentation, we will explore the years of 1983 to 2006 and witness the growth and dynamic change within Central Square and the nightclub, ManRay and its twenty years at 21 Brookline Street.

Shawn Driscoll is a historian, writer and adjunct professor in History and Political Science. He is the co-author of The Grip-The 1918 Pandemic and a City Under Siege, and has published work in books that cover topics ranging from World War I (They Ventured Far, Dutcher & Ellsworth) to Women in Hollywood (Hollywood Heroines--ABC-Clio). Shawn, a native of the Massachusetts South Shore, resides in Worcester Massachusetts with his wife, and two children.
