| Description: | After a 3 year wait, the Friends of Jacob Edwards Library is FINALLY holding a book sale May 13 and 14 at Jacob Edwards Library, 236 Main St in Southbridge. Friday hours are 9am-5pm. The sale will conclude on Saturday 9am to noon. A large variety of books will be available: fiction and non-fiction, childrens books, CDs and DVDs as well as canvas tote bags. The books have been sorted by category, and the mysteries are even sorted by author. We are asking for cash donations, only. The canvas totes sell for $5- then patrons can fill them with as many books as they can fit. Childrens books are free. Donations of books are not accepted at this time- our goal is to get rid of the books we already have- and fill your library with them. The sale includes gently read book donations. Proceeds from the book sale benefit programs supported by the Friends, i.e., museum passes, childrens room programs, receptions and adult programs, library equipment, etc. Support library programs- fill your book shelves with quality books- at great prices!
