Description: Jason will share his journey from story conception to publication and beyond, with emphasis on short story writing and publishing with small presses in the speculative fiction genres. He will offer tips for new and established writers looking to publish their work or take it to the next level.

Jason Parent is an award-winning author of several novels and many shorter works of speculative fiction, his stories often blurring the boundaries between thriller, horror, and science fiction. His newest book is The Apocalypse Strain, which tells the story of a pandoravirus at a remote Siberian research facility.
