Description: The Nissitissit String Quartet is comprised of long-time colleagues and friends who migrated from the Boston area to northwest Middlesex County. With a mutual desire for a fresh and fun performance experience, generated from musical treasures arranged for string quartet from jazz, Latin, Broadway, classical, fiddle/folk, pop/rock and more, the ensemble was born. Come enjoy Vivaldis "Winter" from "The Four Seasons", jazz standards by Duke Ellington, George Gershwin and Cole Porter, a fiddle set with Irish and Scottish tunes, a Beatles batch with original arrangements, and a theme song set that covers famous movies and well-loved TV sitcoms, introduced by trivia questions.

Live @ Lawrence Library is held in the smoke-free intimate environment of the Art Gallery. Fantastic acoustics draw musicians and listeners from throughout New England. Light refreshments and Starbucks coffee are provided by Friends of the Library.

Free and open to the public. Donations for the local food pantry are welcome at all of our music programs.

This program is supported in part by a grant from the Pepperell Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency
