| Description: | TUCKER MIDDLE SCHOOL THEATRE GROUP TIES LITERACY TO SPOKEN WORD Tucker, Georgia (Tucker Middle School) October 4, 2004 The Tucker Middle School Theatre Group will hold its first annual Poetry Slam celebrating literacy through the use of Spoken Word, Saturday, October 30, 2004. The Poetry Slam will be held at Tucker Middle School, 2160 Idlewood Road, Tucker, Georgia 30084 from 4-7PM in the Tucker Middle School café-torium. The Theatre Groups motto-We Express to Enlighten, will be in full effect as students and teachers perform original works, along with those of famous poets. Other invited guest artists are rapper .380 formerly of Suave House and Trinity Garden Cartel, and rapper Lo-Key. The event will be the Tucker Middle School Theatre Groups first fund raiser. |
