Description: AVM concert under direction of Artistic Director & Founder Dr. Robert P. Eaton with orchestra & vocal soloists: soprano Dana Lynne Varga; mezzo Pamela Dellal; tenor Gregory Zavracky; and baritone John Salvi. Featuring 2 works born in times of tumult: F.J. Haydn's "Lord Nelson Mass" (Mass in Time of Distress) composed during Napoleonic Wars; and Leonard Bernstein's "Chichester Psalms", combining Jewish and Christian choral traditions in a fervent plea for peace following the assassination of President Kennedy & also murder of Bernstein's close friend Marc Blitzstein. Tyler Keogh, a talented member of Westboro High School's Concert Choir, Chamber Chorus and A Cappella group will be featured as youth soloist in "Chichester Psalms."
