Description: The featured speaker at this year's event is Dr. Alexandre Kalache. Dr. Kalache is the current co-president of the International Longevity Center's Global Alliance, a seventeen-country consortium of think tanks on aging with consultative status to the United Nations. As Director of the World Health Organization's global program on aging, they instigated the Age-Friendly Cities movement. Attendees will hear about local and state-wide healthy-aging initiatives, as well as discussions on local age and Dementia friendly work.
