Description: On Friday, November 1, at 7:30pm, Gateway will hold a staged reading of "ECLIPSE" an original play written by Jeffrey Coggins. This is free and open to the public and will be held in Fellowship Hall at Elm Street Congregational Church. "Eclipse" tells the story of a man dogged by uncertainty and despair, trying to make his way through life- accompanied by a shadow. A staged reading means that this is a work in progress and the audience is welcome to offer comments after the reading. Gateway is always proud to encourage new works and is happy to showcase Jeff's writing. He may be remembered for his appearances in "Rocky Horror Show" and "It's a Wonderful Life".
The cast and crew of "Eclipse" includes Jeff Coggins (Casey Mailer), Patrick Bracken ( Shadow), Billy Bolster (Mr. Muggins), Gwen O'Brien (Judge Prudence Wiliams), Stephen Jean (Fr. Hawthorne), Sierra Trudel (Darlene), Ryan Drago (Mr. Farrell and others), Sam Zilic (Joe and others), Suzanne Adams (Sue and others), Erin Morin (narrator), Mary Gahagan (director/producer), Barbara Day (assistant).
