Description: An improvisional movement piece by local dancers and visitors that responds to Adria Arch: Reframing Eleanor. Attendees participate in a guided experience as we respond to the art with movement. No experience necessary! In conjunction with the Fitchburg Art Museum's newest exhibitions, FAM is hosting a series of workshops for teens and adults based on the intermingling of art forms. All workshops will be run by artist Adria Arch with Fitchburg State Professor (and dancer) Catherine Buell, and Karen Krolak, Artistic Director and co-founder of Monkeyhouse. FAM Curator Lisa Crossman and Executive Director of the Fitchburg Historical Society Susan Navarre will provide historical context related to Arch's and Norcross's artworks and the cultural references made by each. These workshops are partially supported by Fitchburg State University, The Douglas and Isabelle Crocker Center for Civic Engagement, and MassHumanities.
