Description: 02-056 O.S.H.A 10-Hour Construction Safety Course

Students will cover OSHA policies, procedures and standards, as well as construction safety and health principles. OSHA requirements that address some of the leading hazards associated with construction sites will also be covered: Electricity, Material Handling, Stairways & Ladders, Scaffolding, Steel Erection, Trenching & Excavation, Construction Motor Vehicle Safety and Personal Protective Equipment. This course meets the requirements for public construction jobs in Massachusetts. Upon successful course completion, each student will receive an OSHA construction safety and health 10-hour course completion card. OSHA card fee: $8.00 payable to instructor on first night of class. 3 weeks/12 hours

Paul Daoust is a Massachusetts Licensed Plumbing Instructor, and an Authorized OSHA Construction Trainer. He is currently teaching at Bay Path Regional Vocational Technical High School. Mr. Daoust is a graduate of Bay Path Vocational High School and holds a MA Master Plumbers License, MA Journeyman Plumbers License and MA Oil Burner Technician License.
