Description: Sachuest Point National Wildlife Refuge is a wild place of rocky cliffs, salt marshlands, and the winter home of rare and beautiful harlequin ducks. At Colt State Park, a stunning gem with panoramic views of Narragansett Bay, horned larks and buffleheads can be found on the same day. We'll explore along ocean trails at Sachuest Point, and bird primarily by van at Colt State Park. Offered only every few years, this trip is suited for novice-to-expert birders. Expect a brisk but moderate, 30-minute walk at Sachuest Point. This van trip begins and ends at Broad Meadow Brook. For more information and to register, call 508.753.6087
