Description: Take the pledge to be a part of the solution in ending violence against women and all gender-based violence. Wear a white ribbon today and beyond to symbolize this pledge and help change attitudes and beliefs that perpetuate violence. Take the pledge and pick up your ribbons at these locations in the Hammond Hall North Street entrance between 9 and 11 a.m.; in Holmes Dining Commons between 11:15 a.m. and 1 p.m.; and Russell Towers between 3 and 5 p.m. This program is a collaboration between Pathways for Change, Fitchburg Anti-Violence Education (FAVE), Housing and Residential Services, Fraternity and Sorority Life, Fitchburg State Title IX, Fitchburg State University Police, and Feminist Conversations. The White Ribbon Campaign is an international campaign which began approximately three decades ago. Although this campaign originally began as an initiative for men to pledge not to condone or commit violence against women, we encourage all to pledge not to commit or condone violence.
