Description: 09-057 Creating Meaningful Photographs, Mat Cutting and Framing

During this one evening workshop you will discover the qualities that separate an enduringly meaningful photograph from an ordinary and quickly forgotten image. In addition, you will learn through hands-on experience how to mat and frame an image.
All materials will be provided by the instructor. Class is limited to 20 students

Ron Rosenstocks photographs are in the collections of the Fogg Art Museum, Cambridge, M., The Worcester Art Museum, Worcester, MA, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, MA, The International Center of Photography, New York City, and numerous private collections. He has been honored with over 100 exhibits in the United States and Europe in the past fifty years including The Worcester Art Museum in Worcester, Massachusetts and the National Museum of Iceland in Reykjavik, Iceland. Ron has published six books of his photographs. Presently Ron is a frequent lecturer to social, community and professional groups as well as an international phot tour leader in Ireland, Scotland, Iceland, Greenland, Morocco, Italy, Greece, Cuba, New Zealand and Vinalhaven, Maine.
