|Description:||Horse drawn tours of the Canal District, narrated by costumed high school students portraying characters from Worcester's history. Learn the rich social and architectural history of the Canal District, and experience the thrill of crossing infamous Kelley Square in a horse drawn wagon. Learn about the creation of the Blackstone Canal, its role in the growth of the City of Worcester, its persistence underneath the city streets, and the plans for its re-creation.
Tours are first-come-first-serve, starting at 5 p.m. at the south-west end of Crompton Park. They are free.
