Description: Positive psychologist and author of A Short Course in Happiness After Loss (and Other Dark, Difficult Times) and Every Day Counts, Maria Sirois will speak on Thursday April 4 at 4 pm in the Tsotsis Family Academic Center at Assumption College. The lecture, Science of a Resilient, Happy Life, is one of several special events presented in celebration of the 25th Anniversary of the Worcester Institute for Senior Education (WISE). Sirois is an internationally known speaker and consultant on the resilience of the human spirit, particularly when under chronic stress. The lecture is free and open to the public.
