Description: Join your neighbors for an offline discussion on Growing Up With Racism. How did the presence of diversity (or lack thereof) in your upbringing influence your views on racism? What prejudices did you inherit from your family or friends while growing up and how have they affected your development? Hosted and moderated by local non-profit, Diverse Groups. Diverse Groups provides a safe and respectful space for moderated discussion on challenging topics. We encourage in-person interactions between people of diverse backgrounds to build empathy and understanding. Adult. Light refreshments will be served. To ensure a quality discussion, capacity is limited to 20 participants and reservations are required.
