Description: 1968 was a year of assassinations, marches, riots, elections, wars and the Big Mac. It was an annus horribilis, punctuated with Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da. Tricky Dick defeated the Happy Warrior. Paris, Prague and Chicago erupted. Pete Seeger sang Waist Deep in the Big Muddy, Simon and Garfunkel told the tale of Mrs. Robinson, and James Brown saved Boston. LBJ left and Elvis came back. Hippies, Yuppies, and Maharishis.
What did we learn? What did we not learn? What did we learn and forget?
