Description: Babatunde the Griot and his magnificent drummer Uncle Spirit will take you
on a magical journey throughout the Motherland. Following the cultural storytelling
practices of the indigenous natives of the Americas and those found in traditional
African tales, Babatunde engages the audience with creatively woven tales - teaching
children many positive morals and values including self awareness, self-confidence,
teamwork, respect, and responsibility. In this completely interactive and immersive
experience, the children will have opportunities to sing, dance, play the drums and even
meditate. Following the conclusion of this awe inspiring program, the hope is for
audience members to remember to be bold and courageous enough to tell their own
stories, simply by using their imaginations.

ALSO, THOSE IN ATTENDANCE WILL BE ENTERED INTO DRAWING FOR 4 TICKETS TO DISNEY JUNIOR "DANCE PARTY! ON TOUR" EVENT AT THE FOX THEATRE ON MARCH 24 @ 1 PM...
