Description: The January meeting will be held the first *SATURDAY* on January 6th at 10:00am in the BANX Room at the Worcester Public Library (Contact: Reference Department at 508-799-1655 or mywpl.org), located at 3 Salem Square in Worcester, Massachusetts. You can arrive from 9:30am to attend an earlier ½ hour of socialization time.

The day will begin with a short business meeting followed by the meeting's presentation by Joy Hennig and Charlene Sokal. Joy Hennig is Worcester Public Librarys Local History and Genealogy Librarian. Charlene Sokal is the Former Worcester Public Librarys Reference Supervisor and Genealogist.

The meeting is open to anyone interested in this presentation. Attendees are encouraged to bring along a friend(s), as well as your own non-alcoholic beverage, munchies will be provided. Anyone bringing goodies to share will receive an extra door prize ticket. Membership is encouraged for anyone pursuing the hobby, passion, or profession of Genealogy. Yearly membership is only $25.00 for an individual and $30.00 for a family living in the same household.

Please note that parking isnt allowed in the green areas (further from the door). Note your space number and pay for parking at the outdoor kiosk (credit cards accepted) BEFORE entering the library. Arrive early to avoid the lines at the parking kiosk. Some on-street parking may be available as well.
