Description: What are the local consequences of Eastern Hemlock trees and their lifespan? Join us to learn about a 10-year survey of Eastern Hemlock tree mortality along Route 2 in Massachusetts and Southern Vermont, undertaken by faculty and students at Holy Cross, to track the devastating effect the woolly adelgid has had on these majestic trees.
Holy Cross student and researcher Hugh O'Neil will present results and explain their impact on the New England ecology.
