| Description: | Women In World Jazz brings together women of different nationalities with extensive experience in performance and education. The music is easy to relate to, diverse, and engaging - perfect for the whole family. All members of the group are accomplished musicians playing a variety of music ranging from jazz to world/ethnic. Featured music is from U.S., Cuba, Brazil, Cape Verde, Japan, and the Middle East. The program has an educational component which allows audience participation for all ages--playing, dancing, and singing along will be encouraged! Free and open to the public.
