This class will combine various styles of yoga including vinyasa, restorative, and hatha to increase the mind-body connection. We will learn how our everyday issues might be attributed to different imbalances in the body and spirit.
The last 15 minutes of class will consist of a guided mediation to allow for a spiritual growth to pair with our physical growth, so we can not only practice yoga but live yoga.
A multi level class where utilization of props can accommodate both the beginner and the advanced. All students can feel comfortable learning. The student is supported through the fine tuning of asana and modification.
This class incorporates breath, mindfulness, meditation, strength, balance and increased flexibility.
Hatha yoga is the most widely practiced form of yoga in America. It is the branch of yoga which concentrates on physical health and mental well-being. Hatha yoga uses bodily postures (asanas), breathing techniques (pranayama), and meditation (dyana) with the goal of bringing about a sound, healthy body and a clear, peaceful mind. There are nearly 200 hatha yoga postures, with hundreds of variations, which work to make the spine supple and to promote circulation in all the organs, glands, and tissues. Hatha yoga postures also stretch and align the body, promoting balance and flexibility.
